Invisible Armor™ for Everyday Life

Traditional body armor is typically designed for military, law enforcement, or tactical use. It can be bulky, highly visible, and uncomfortable for everyday wear.

Innocent Armor was created around a different idea: protective apparel should look and feel like clothing you would actually choose to wear.

Every Innocent Armor garment is built around our Lifestyle Body Armor® philosophy, combining refined everyday apparel with removable ShieldTec® NIJ Level IIIA ballistic panels designed for modern civilian life.

Our jackets, vests, shirts, and protective garments are engineered to provide discreet coverage while maintaining a polished, professional appearance. The result is protection that does not unnecessarily draw attention to itself.

Protection without broadcasting it.

What Is Lifestyle Body Armor®?

Lifestyle Body Armor® is ballistic protection designed around civilian life rather than adapted from tactical equipment.

Instead of wearing an obvious armor carrier over your clothing, Innocent Armor integrates removable ballistic panels into specially designed garments. The panels sit close to the body while the exterior maintains the appearance of premium everyday apparel.

This approach is intended for people who value protection, mobility, comfort, and discretion in professional and public settings.

NIJ Level IIIA Ballistic Protection

Innocent Armor garments feature removable ShieldTec® soft ballistic panels engineered to provide NIJ Level IIIA protection.

NIJ Level IIIA soft armor is designed to help protect against many common handgun threats, including 9mm and .44 Magnum rounds, when tested under the applicable NIJ standard.

Removable ballistic panels allow the garment and protective components to be handled separately for easier care, storage, replacement, and inspection.

No body armor can eliminate every risk. Proper fit, coverage, use, condition, and maintenance all contribute to overall performance.

Purpose-Built for Civilian Life

Our protective apparel is designed from the ground up for everyday civilian environments. It is not simply tactical equipment covered with ordinary fabric.

Each garment is developed with attention to:

  • Discreet ballistic panel placement
  • Low-profile everyday styling
  • Comfort and freedom of movement
  • Professional appearance
  • Balanced front and back coverage
  • Easy removal of ballistic panels
  • Durable materials suited to regular wear

This design philosophy allows our clothing to fit naturally into daily routines, including commuting, business travel, public events, client meetings, and everyday urban life.

Innocent Armor® vs. Traditional Tactical Gear

Refined Everyday Appearance

Our products are designed to resemble premium jackets, vests, shirts, and other familiar clothing—not military or tactical equipment.

Discreet, Low-Profile Protection

The ballistic components are integrated into the garment so the wearer can maintain a discreet appearance in public settings.

Designed for Movement

Garment construction, panel positioning, and carefully selected materials help support mobility during normal daily activities.

Created for Civilian Environments

Innocent Armor focuses on the needs of civilians, professionals, travelers, executives, security personnel, and others who want protection without a tactical appearance.

Removable ShieldTec® Panels

The ballistic panels can be removed from the garment for care and storage. This also allows the clothing to be worn separately when ballistic protection is not needed.

Made in the USA

Innocent Armor protective apparel is proudly made in the USA. Domestic manufacturing supports closer attention to garment construction, material selection, ballistic panel integration, and overall quality.

Our goal is not to produce ordinary clothing with armor added as an afterthought. Each product is built as an integrated protective system in which the garment, fit, panel placement, and appearance work together.

FitTec® Comfort Technology

Ballistic protection is only useful when it can be worn properly and consistently. FitTec® Comfort Technology reflects our focus on balancing coverage, concealability, mobility, and everyday comfort.

Our garments are engineered to help keep ballistic panels positioned over the intended coverage areas while allowing the wearer to move naturally throughout the day.

Because body type, garment style, and individual fit can affect comfort and coverage, our team is available to help customers select the most appropriate size and product.
